Sarah Ellis

Sarah Ellis

Artistic Director

Founder and Artistic Director of HyperFusion Theatre Company including TIC Box Productions, The Shhh Experience and the HyperFusion Academy. Director, actor, facilitator, teacher, writer, she has been making theatre for over 30 years. Graduated from Rose Bruford Drama School with BA degree in Community Theatre and PGCE in Drama. Work includes directing and writing musical theatre and plays, theatre-in-education tours, site specific theatre, devised, interactive and immersive theatre. Sarah’s mission is to create inclusive theatre available to all and in non-theatre spaces. Recently award Community Champion at Best Business Woman Awards 2019. Whether it’s the UK debut performance of the musical Parade, a forum piece tacking issues for teenagers or examining grief and bereavement with adults, she always stamps her own style on the project promoting inclusion and diversity at all times.

Lead role in a UK film called ‘Crossed Paths’ which was distributed to schools around the UK. I have also played the main role in 2 other films which are both in post-production. TV credits include Hollyoaks, New Tricks, Silent Witness, The Suspicions of Mr Whicher. Film work includes Conscript, The Jinn, All of Me, New Recipe. Theatre credits include My Brothers and Sisters, BOY, Bring on the Bollywood, Secret Cinema, The Sawyer Studies, The Jungle Book Are You Positive. Feature film credits include Crossed Paths, Requiem, We Still Kill The Old Way, The Lifetime Promise, The Forbidden Note.

Cheyenne-Lima Fiamberti DeSouza

Cheyenne-Lima Fiamberti DeSouza

Cheyenne-Lima Fiamberti DeSouza is a London born actress of Italian, Caribbean and South American heritage and speaks Italian fluently. She trained at Fourth Monkey Theatre Company, on the 2-year rep, graduating in 2015. The first role she landed was as a revolutionary named Noir in ‘Black Attack’, a piece of new writing that was part of the Black Lives, Black Words, at the Bush Theatre. Cheyenne-Lima then took a pause from acting to pursue her passion in the field of childcare, as a teaching assistant followed by a nanny. As of 2017, she has appeared as a student activist in ‘Dissent’ part of Six Degrees at the Courtyard Theatre; a teenage influencer on the Golden Bridge adventures by Maisie Brown, part of an online series; as a teacher in ‘Birthday Boy’ a short film about a transgender boy and has also performed as part of the spoken word cypher at the Black Magic Awards at the Criterion theatre.

John Oakes

John Oakes

Working in Improvised theatre for over 10 years, John has been fortunate enough to perform on both stage and screen. He regularly performs with Scared Scriptless and will remain a core member of their residency team at the London Impro theatre until the end of the year. Some of John’s favourite credits include; playing Garyenti in Russell Kanes Fakespeare – The Lamentable Tragedie of Yates’ Wine Lodge?– at the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre Stratford-upon-Avon, Michael in Sadie Hasler’s The Bastard Children of Remmington Steele? at the Leicester Square Theatre and three successful years in the Underbelly at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with sketch group GIRAFFE, as well as co-writing and performing this year’s award winning production of Shakespeare for Breakfast. John has a regular stand up comedy routine on the London club circuit and co-presenting an FM radio show and is looking forward to being back at the Edinburgh Fringe this year for Shakespeare for Breakfast.

Charlotte Barnes

Charlotte trained at East 15 Acting School, completing a BA in World Performance. Theatre includes: Princess Jasmine in Aladdin (Qdos Entertainment, Hull New Theatre), Lily in Janus (Shoebox Theatre), Tigerlily/ Mrs Darling in Peter Pan (Lincoln Drill Hall); Hippolytos in Hippolytos (Teatr Polski Warsaw); Bismillah/ Dai in Umrao the Noble Courtesan (Cockpit Theatre & Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh Fringe); Elena/ Isabella in Venezia (Teatro San Gallo, Venice); Carmen in The Balcony (Clifftown Theatre). Film: Charlotte enjoyed appearing as a dancer in Disney’s 2019 live action film, Aladdin and has also appeared in a number of short films, including Matchbox featuring Simon Callow. Charlotte is also looking forward to joining the cast (for the now rescheduled from 2020 to 2021 tour), of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Alfie Jallow

Graduating from The Brit School in 2018, Alfie has thrown himself into all he can to keep performing and strive to reach his goal of becoming an actor. In the middle of 2019 he joined an agency and has had a fairly successful beginning after booking a stint at The Other Palace in London, booking the tours with the fabulous TicBox Productions and being part of the new short film ‘Getting out’. Alfie’s previous credits include: ‘You choose: A show about knife crime’(tour); UrineTown (the Vaults); Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens (Edinburgh and Brighton fringe); Tom brown’s School days (The Other Palace); Chicago (Cranleigh arts centre); Getting Out (Short Film); Aladdin (The Capitol Theatre) with many more professional and semi credits which have added up over 8 years of performing. Alfie has also been lucky enough to have the opportunity to assistant direct a couple of shows. This encouraged him to start producing and writing his own theatre with hopes to take it back to fringe when ready. Alfie has also been part of international exchanges to New York and Baltimore for the last few years now; opening many doors, creating opportunities and contacts to help progress him in his career.

Eunique Darko is a young actress from London currently training at Identity School of Acting. With genuine love and passion for performing she is comfortable to play emotions to whatever extent desired, ready for all challenges and a constant learner. In under a year of pursuing an acting career Eunique has earned herself a place in a drama school, starred in a commercial, gained experience in tv and film and of course landed a role as a main cast member in out tour BOY.

Sally Collett

Sally graduated Northumbria University in 2012 with a BA Hons in Performance and worked as an actress in the North East for a number of years before moving to London. Where she began writing her own screenplays, and assisting Directors in both Theatre and Film. Sally assisted Tramp Theatre Company at The Southwark Playhouse on their production ‘Confessional’ which was nominated for an ‘Offie’ Award, following that she assisted on ‘Sweet Science’ with Tramp again which went to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Sally delved into the world of Feature Film in 2018 Assisting Director, Martin Owen on Killers Anonymous, Lionsgate 2019.
At the end of 2018 Sally co-wrote and starred in Feature Film ‘Max Cloud’ Wellgo USA 2020.
Since filming Max Cloud Sally has written on a feature film called ‘Twist’, Sky Cinema – starring Michael Caine, Raff Law, Lena Heady and David Walliams – she also played a small role in the film. She has written two more Features in 2020, one which is in development with Sky ‘Breaking Point’ and the other, a collaboration in development with FAE Film & TV called ‘The Circus’. She also Produced, Wrote, and Directed her own Comedy Short called ‘Bounce’ which will be doing the festival circuit in 2021.

Ellie Gill

Ellie trained at Drama Studio London, graduating in 2016. She is delighted to work with the team at TIC Box! Some recent credits include Paulina in The Winters Tale at Brighton Fringe and ‘Woman 2’ in N2P‘s GRIP. which won the Audience Choice award at the International Youth Arts Festival 2019. Ellie is a member of professional touring improv group ’Extreme Improv’ and an Associate Artist with N2P (Nothing to Perform). Ellie has experience in improv and immersive work and absolutely loves comedy character roles! Ellie once competed at the European Cheerleading Championships in Italy, she was a cheerleader for 10 years and also a qualified coach! Ellie has recently become a curve model and has been lucky enough to be featured in major national campaigns for Figleaves and Boots.

Ros Watt

Ros is a Scottish actor who trained with the National Youth Theatre of GB and is a proud member of TicBox Productions. Ros is the founder of RARA Theatre in Scotland, which acts as a stepping stone for young people moving from Youth Theatre to professional work, commissioning work focused on feminism and mental health. She is particularly passionate about inclusivity and diversity within the industry. Other recent work includes numerous UK tours in various productions; (including playing Fern in Charlottes Web and Sarah Crewe in A Little Princess), working with the Northwall and the Pappy Show on ‘Wait Till the End’, and the two man show ‘Diagnosed’ at Reading Fringe. Being part of starting important conversations with TicBox is hugely exciting for Ros and being able to utilise her extensive facilitator experience during the forum workshops has been incredibly rewarding.

Adam Courting

Having lived several other lives as: a club DJ, Band manager and a Souvenir wholesaler, he settled into the acting industry and has enjoyed several years working professionally across the various disciplines.Having spent the majority of his TIC Box life touring the show ‘BOY’, he feels a keen affinity to the project, and to the production’s protagonist Joe, while also relishing the challenge of delivering the forum aspect to diverse audiences. Recent credits include: King Phillip/King John (ICAT), Zacharia & Others & Puppeteer/The Lost World (Illyria), Mr Samsa & Lodger & Puppeteer/Metamorphosis (Theatrical Niche), Julius Eastman/Mr Mineshaft (Unfinished Productions), Tobias/Trashed (Bears & Vagabonds)

Ben Hale

Ben Hale

Ben trained at Rose Bruford College and has been working professionally in the industry for over 12 years now. Notable theatre roles have included playing hero Orestes in Greek drama ‘Iphigenia in Tauris ’ at The Rose Playhouse. He also played the title role of Benjamin Trip in ‘Trip’s Cinch’ by Phyllis Nagy at The Etcetera Theatre. He has recently played supernatural host Jackdaw in various immersive mysteries in London with ‘ImmerCity’. He writes, devises, improvises, laughs and creates with various great companies, including TIC Box. Aside from theatre, Ben is experienced with roleplaying and facilitating for corporate training, often working with leading business schools and high end clients. He is also a professional tour guide in London, conducting walking tours with historical stories.

Paris is a passionate, quirky, funny and reliable performer with many skills to hand. Trained at The Court Theatre Training Company London, Paris has always had great love for performing which comes across in her work and enthusiasm. She has worked on many project, Theatre, Film and Tv with amazing Directors and cast members, including: Ruby/ Widow Twanky/ Jasmin in Aladdin Pantomime and Peter Pan / Tink in Peter Pan Pantomime (Hurricane Productions), Camelot the Shining City (SlungLow Production), Evie in Sheffield Mysteries (Daniel Evans), Blood Wedding (Phil Willmott), The Glee Club (Esther Richardson), Natasha in Manage A Trios (Film by InFiniti Crisis). Paris continues to learn new skills and attend workshops in light to better her career. Paris is Extremely Happy to Join the Hyperfusion Team as a lead Cast member in BOY tours across the UK.

Dean Fletcher has been working as a professional actor for 5 years performing in different styles of theatre. Dean studied Drama and Physical Theatre at St Mary’s University and graduated in 2015. Since then, Dean has performed in countries such as Spain,Italy. and England. Dean was working in Spain for 3 years, touring the country and performing English shows to help improve the level of English in various areas of Spain. Dean has done a lot of immersive theatre performing on Farms across the UK to thousands of families. Dean joined the Tic Box family at the beginning of the year and is proud to be a part of such an amazing company.

Roseanna Connolly

Roseanna is an actor, writer and comedian from Essex. She is best known for her work as part of the creative team and cast of the award winning Shakespeare for Breakfast (Edinburgh and London),and the longest running musical comedy in the world,Newsrevue. Roseanna has performed on stage and screen for over 10 years ,but is also a freelance artist and has worked in schools around the UK as an SEN support worker. Roseanna credits include A UK Tour of Oliver! , Call the midwife and various tv commercials.
